it’s the end of the road for the American version of The X Factor.
“I’ve had a fantastic time over the last 12 years, both on The X Factor and American Idol,” Cowell, 54, says in a statement. “And apart from being lucky enough to find some amazing talent on the shows, I have always had an incredible welcome from the American public (most of the time!).”
I did not like that show. I really think I didn’t like it because of Simon. The chemistry with the voice coaches is amazing!
Demi Lovato is furious at the producers of “X Factor,” grousing that she was blindsided by a skit that mocked her addiction.
Mario Lopez introduced a skit which showed clips of Demi drinking what looked like booze, acting annoying and off center.
Demi is extremely upset because addiction has turned her life upside down. It got so bad, she was living in a sober house for more than a year just to avoid temptation.
You can see her reaction on the show … at one point it appears she says “That’s f**ked up.”
Demi’s already said she’s leaving the show, but now it’s pretty clear … for her it couldn’t be soon enough.
Word on the street is Demi is furious! What were they thinking?
The X Factor ended its season on a star-studded note on Thursday that saw amazing vocals, emotions running high and tears of joy.

Yay! We are done with Simon for another season! Maybe he’ll decide to be a stay at home daddy!
Demi Lovato is leaving The X- Factor!
The reason? “She plans to spend next year completely focused on her music.
“She had a great run and a good time,” but the show’s demanding schedule conflicts with the singer’s plans for 2014.
Lovato, 21, who has served as a judge for two seasons, is about to headline her first arena tour, which kicks off Feb. 9 in Vancouver and will also feature X Factor alums Cher Lloyd, Little Mix and Fifth Harmony.
I’ll bet she couldn’t take that pompous Simon!
Demi Lovato has spoken openly about her battles with drugs and alcohol in the past. But the X Factor judge has revealed for the first time how desperate her addictions had become.
The 21-year-old told in detail of how she couldn’t be without cocaine to the degree she’d smuggle it on airline flights:
“Something I’ve never talked about before, but with my drug use I could hide it to where I would sneak drugs. I couldn’t go 30 minutes to an hour without cocaine and I would bring it on airplanes,” she revealed. “I would smuggle it basically and just wait until everyone in first class would go to sleep and I would do it right there. I’d sneak to the bathroom and I’d do it. That’s how difficult it got and that was even with somebody [with me], I had a sober companion, somebody who was watching me 24/7 and living with me [and] I was able to hide it from them as well” she told AH.
As for her moment of “rock bottom” with realizing she was becoming an alcoholic, it happened when she was 19-years-old:
“I was going to the airport and I had a Sprite bottle just filled with vodka and it was just nine in the morning and I was throwing up in the car and this was just to get on a plane to go back to LA to the sober living house that I was staying at…I had all the help in the world, but I didn’t want it.”ional issues?”
“When I hit that moment I was like, it’s no longer fun when you’re doing it alone. I’ve really never talked about this stuff before… I don’t know if I should be sharing this. I think at 19-years-old, I had a moment where I was like, ‘Oh my God… that is alcoholic behavior. [It’s] no longer, I’m young and rebellious and out having fun, it was, wow, I’m one of those people…I gotta get my s*** together.”
sooooo……she didn’t really go to rehab for ” emotional issues?”
